Mission 3 Methodology:Digital Journalism

BLOG 1 PROCESS The third and final project was called Methodology. For this mission we were going to have to make a video where Shaun was going to play in the lecture for the year to watch. The video will have to be 5 minutes long and Shaun would make a compilation of all the videos in one video.So instead of doing a presentation of our project it will be in video format.The video will be played in the final lecture before the end of the semester. Before picking a mission I looked through them all to see which one I would be best at doing and where my strengths would come in place.The missions I could pick from where networks, image visualization, mapping,text analysis and digital journalism. They all seemed a bit hard to do and I was not sure where to start. So before I started I read through the description of each and tried to come up with an idea for at least one that would work in a video format. Mission 2 Culture:Selfies

                                                                        BLOG 1 PROCESS Before I picked an assignment for the second mission I had to look through each assignment and pick one that I thought I wold enjoying doing and would work to my fullest potential. The second mission was called culture. The assignments I could pick from were memes, blogging, activism and agency, personal data tracking, internet of things, augmented reality, youtubing, digital privacy, online hate and harassment: the trouble with trolling, working for the web, wikipedia and selfies. For each topic I went through the description with it and the work that would have to be carried out for it and what needed to be done for the topic.For each topic in my my lab with Helen I went through each one and wrote out what work would have to go into the each part of the topic. Mission 1 Creativity:Adaptations, Remixes and Mashups

BLOG 1 PROCESS For my first time doing a group project I was not sure what topic I would like to do and what I would be good at.So for my first lab session with Helen where I was told I had to pick a topic, I found it difficult to begin with. As I was not sure how it was going to play out and where my strengths and weaknesses would come into the presentation.The name of this mission was called creativity and it was the first of the three we had to do as part of the module. Hi my name is Alex Lungu and I am 17 years old. I live in Dublin, Ireland and am currently attending TU Dublin Blanchardstown and I am studying Creative Digital Media. My parents are originally are from Moldova and have been living here for over 17 years. I have one brother Maricel he is 15 years old and he is currently in 4th year. I done my leaving cert last June and graduated from MaryField College in Marino. My favourite subject in school was History. My favourite hobby is dancing, I have been dancing since I was like 6. My favourite style right now is hip-hop. I train and attend classes at Fly Dance Studio. I have a big passion for dancing for dancing and hope that in the future I can turn it into a career path. My favourite colour is purple, my favourite holiday has been when I went to Italy with my family two years ago. I loved the cities I visited the beaches and the weather was great!
